Chaired by Anthony Oncidi of Proskauer Rose LLP and Enrique Stile of Argentine firm Marval, O´Farrell & Mairal, the conference will present local employment law issues from across Latin America through the lens of multinational companies.

Speakers include in-house counsel and union representatives, as well as the leading names in employment law from firms across the region. Embraer associate general counsel Newton dos Anjos; Nadine Chang, vice president of CBRE; and Christian Leandro García and Ignacio Gonzalez Lonzieme of Argentina´s Unión Informática are all confirmed to speak.

Panels will debate the merits of collective bargaining agreements within the context of economic crisis; diversity and inclusion within today´s workplace; and the differences in culture, employment and immigration that arise when doing business in Mercosur and Pacific Alliance states. Topics also up for discussion include methods for resolving workplace disputes out-of-court, as well as the ramifications that Argentina´s and Venezuela´s political upheaval could have for both countries´ labour laws.
