Machado Meyer Sendacz e Opice has advised Mexican bread maker Bimbo in a Brazillian cross-border buyout.
Bimbo do Brasil, the local affiliate, paid $149 million for Nutrella Alimentos. The deal created the largest packaged-bread manufacturer in the country.
Carlos José Rolim de Mello led the Machado team, wich also included Patrícia Scharlau.
Celso Luiz Bernardon of CCA Advogados represented Nutrella.
