Given the growing global concern regarding environmental impacts and climate change, green products and services are becoming more popular.

 

Green products are designed to minimize their adverse impact on the environment. A variety of characteristics typifies such products. These include the use of recycled materials, changes in the production process and sustainable packaging, among others. This rise in popularity of so-called green products has brought with it some false advertising claims also known as greenwashing.
