Machado, Meyer, Sendacz e Opice Advogados has helped Brazilian drugstore chain Drogão in its sale to pharmaceutical company DSP Administração de Bens Imóveis e Participações, known as Drogaria São Paulo.

Opice, Seixas e Périsse Advocacia SC represented Drogaria São Paulo in the purchase of the network of pharmacies across São Paulo.

The deal closed on 21 June for some US$55 million, and will see the owners of Drogão become shareholders of Drogaria São Paulo.
