Brazil’s Machado, Meyer, Sendacz e Opice Advogados has helped BTG Pactual issue subordinated notes worth US$800 million.

In April, Machado Meyer worked alongside Lefosse, Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP, Shearman & Sterling LLP and Conyers Dill & Pearman to help BTG Pactual raise US$1.96 billion in the first ever initial public offering by a Brazilian investment bank.
