Dias Carneiro Advogados has promoted a lawyer in its data privacy department, as Brazilian firms scrabble for the discipline’s best practitioners.
Vanessa Pareja Lerner, 36, made partner on 1 January, increasing the firm’s partner count to 15. She will be supported by Eduardo Turkienicz, who also practises data law.
Lerner focuses her practice on data protection and intellectual property issues. She also covers licensing and advertising for clients in the technology, video game and entertainment industries.
