Machado Meyer Advogados has made a second round of promotions this year, appointing four more lawyers as partners.

After promoting three transactional lawyers and two dispute attorneys in April, Machado Meyer has boosted its tax, real estate and corporate departments. Diana Piatti Lobo and Maria Eugênia Doin Vieira become partners at the tax team led by Fernando Tonanni. Lobo increases the firm’s firepower in Brasília, where she represents clients before the tax administrative tribunal CARF and other superior courts. She joined Machado Meyer in 2007 and, in 2012, spent four months at CMS in Paris. Vieira will be based in São Paulo. In addition to tax litigation she focuses on pension issues. She joined the firm in 2000.
