Machado Meyer Advogados, still optimistic about Brazil’s long-term economic prospects, has made its fourth lateral hire this year, recruiting a partner to build a white-collar crime department.

Juliana Sá de Miranda was head of the anti-corruption, compliance and cybersecurity practices at Campos Mello Advogados. The hire was officially announced today.

Miranda joined Campos Mello in 2016 from TozziniFreire Advogados’ much-respected compliance department, where she worked for 11 years.
