Argentine, Chilean, Mexican and Peruvian firms have landed roles in the closing of Spanish investment manager Asterion’s global data centre deal with Telefónica and the associated acquisition loan.

Clifford Chance LLP in Madrid, Barcelona, London and Washington, DC acted as international counsel for Asterion in the US$616 million acquisition. The buyer also relied on Carey in Santiago; Creel, García-Cuéllar, Aiza y Enriquez SC in Mexico City; Mitrani Caballero & Ruiz Moreno in Buenos Aires and Rodrigo, Elías & Medrano Abogados in Lima.
