Pinheiro Guimarães has helped the São Paulo stock exchange, B3, raise nearly 3.6 billion reais (US$651 million) in an issuance of debentures.The underwriters relied on Machado Meyer Advogados for the deal, which closed on 19 August.The stock exchange will use the proceeds for general corporate purposes.B3 was created in 2017, following the merger between São Paulo stock exchange BM&FBovespa and São Paulo clearing house Cetip.The bourse reported revenue growth of 23% and a pre-tax income of 3.4 billion reais (US$732 million) in 2019, an increase of over 50% on the year before.
