Tax heads from Chilean airliner LATAM, food service group Compass, logistics provider Crowley and scaffolding supplier AT-PAC will discuss transfer pricing and customs duties in a panel moderated by a top DLA Piper LLP economist at the Latin Lawyer Live 3rd Annual Tax summit next month.
In the conference’s second panel moderated by DLA Piper principal economist Antonio Macias, Jose Madariaga, senior tax manager at LATAM; Julián Vásquez, regional head of compliance at Compass; Robert Jefferson, tax manager at Crowley Maritime; and Scott Campbell, global tax director at AT-PAC, will investigate the emergence of custom duties and other indirect tax as transfer pricing-related stumbling blocks. Speakers will begin by discussing their companies’ transfer-pricing policies and strategy before sharing their compliance concerns and tax controversy experiences in Latin America.
