Alexandre Salomão Jabra is a member of the Litigation team, specializing in consumer law and ESG. He focuses on the prevention and resolution of strategic disputes, advising domestic and foreign companies on judicial and administrative proceedings, negotiations with public authorities, and risk assessments related to products, services, and commercial practices. His experience encompasses liability for products and services, recall campaigns, advertising, offers and promotions, e-commerce, disclosure requirements, and relations with consumer protection agencies.

Also assists clients in structuring and reviewing products, services, contracts, public communications, and new business models, in addition to helping define strategies for the prevention and management of consumer-related contingencies. Throughout his professional career, Alexandre has also gained significant experience in environmental law, sustainability, and ESG, working on issues related to permitting, contaminated sites, solid waste, reverse logistics, liability for environmental damage, climate change, carbon markets, and the circular economy. This knowledge complements his practice in consumer law, particularly in matters involving environmental and sustainability claims, transparency in public communications, reverse logistics, and the prevention of risks related to greenwashing.

Has experience advising clients across various sectors, including food and beverages, automotive, electronics, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, technology, digital platforms, e-commerce, retail, services, consumer products, the chemical and petrochemical industries, machinery and equipment, and financial institutions. Before joining Machado Meyer Advogados, he spent approximately 16 years at Trench Rossi Watanabe, where he worked on matters related to consumer law, environmental law, and sustainability. He is recognized by national and international legal directories, including Chambers and Partners, The Legal 500, Leaders League, and Análise Advocacia. He was named a Star Associate in Consumer Law by Chambers and Partners in the 2025 and 2026 editions and, previously, an Associate to Watch in the same area and in environmental law.
