Practices in the areas of restructuring and insolvency, capital markets, banking and finance, M&A, and special situations, with a focus on the transactional and strategic aspects of transactions involving companies and assets facing financial distress or structural complexity. His work encompasses the structuring, negotiation, and implementation of debt restructurings, DIP (debtor-in-possession) financing, the issuance of debt instruments and securities in the Brazilian and international capital markets, project finance transactions, and the acquisition and disposition of assets and companies in the context of judicial and out-of-court reorganizations (distressed M&A), as well as structured financing backed by receivables and non-traditional assets. He advises domestic and foreign investors, creditors, and debtors—including investment funds, financial institutions, and large corporations—on the structuring and execution of cross-border transactions across various sectors.
