Brazil′s Machado, Meyer, Sendacz e Opice Advogados has helped drinks bottler Rio de Janeiro Refrescos acquire a stake in rival Sorocaba Refrescos.
Rio de Janeiro Refrescos, which bottles cold drinks for The Coca-Cola Company and is owned by Embotelladora Andina, paid 145 million reais (US$71 million) for a 40 per cent stake in Sorocaba.
