Machado Meyer announced on Monday (April 6) the promotion of five new partners, strengthening key practice areas — M&A, Capital Markets, Labor & Employment, Banking and Crypto Assets, and Tax — while also expanding its regional presence in strategic business hubs. With these appointments, the firm reaches a total of 120 partners.
In São Paulo, Gabriel Ramos (Labor & Employment), Gabriel Vazami (M&A), and Pedro Nasi (Banking and Crypto Assets) have joined the partnership. In Rio de Janeiro, Carolina Amorim (Tax) has been promoted, and in Belo Horizonte, Wagner Duarte (Capital Markets and M&A) has also joined the partnership.
The promotion of the new partners reinforces Machado Meyer’s full-service model, enhances the firm’s ability to support companies in strategic transactions across multiple sectors of the economy, and reflects its long-term commitment to the development of internal talent.
“These promotions carry special significance as they reflect the journey of professionals who have built their careers and grown alongside Machado Meyer. Three of them started as interns, and all have been with the firm for many years. This demonstrates the strength of our internal pipeline, combining technical excellence, alignment with the firm’s values, and a strong business mindset,” said Tito Andrade, managing partner of the firm.
